We appreciate your understanding while we upgraded our computer systems. Our new core operating system went live on Monday, October 6 with upgrades that will help improve security for our customers, including new software interfaces that enhance our ability to monitor fraud and protect customer information.
Keep your accounts safe: Monitor your bank accounts regularly and report any unusual activity to the bank as soon as possible.
During the conversion, hundreds of extra staff hours went into securely transferring bank data. Some of the linkages to services such as online banking and debit cards proved challenging despite weeks of pre-testing, and we regret that some of our customers experienced problems. Your convenience is something we take very seriously, and we have worked steadily to make improvements. Thank you for your patience.
In August, we mailed booklets to our customers detailing recent changes to personal and business banking accounts, post-conversion. If you have misplaced your booklet, please visit us at any branch or call us for an extra copy. You can also view the information online using the following links:
We will continue to monitor system performance and encourage you to contact your local branch for answers to any questions you may have. You can also call 603-225-2793 or 800-541-0006.
Valuable Updates for Personal Checking Account Holders
NEW – $15 overdraft allowance: As of October 6, we now provide an allowance of $15 on your personal checking account, so you won’t have to pay an overdraft fee for overdraft balances totaling $15 or less on a given day.
Merrimack24 Telephone Banking Gets an Upgrade
We’ve upgraded our automated telephone banking system to help improve security and convenience. The next time you call into the system, please be sure to have your Merrimack County Savings Bank account number, personal identification number (PIN) and the last four digits of your Social Security number handy. First-time callers will be prompted to enter their full Social Security number and select a temporary PIN between four to six digits in length.

We’re proud to support HOMEteam.
We recently donated $30,000 to HOMEteam, a non-profit membership organization created in partnership with CATCH Neighborhood Housing and NeighborWorks® Southern New Hampshire. The contribution will support pre-purchase and post-purchase home ownership educational programs in Concord, Manchester and Nashua.
