Announcing the 4th Annual Merrimack Holiday Pops Concert

We’re looking forward to this free public concert by the New England Wind Symphony and guests at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord, New Hampshire, at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 16th. Tickets became available on October 15 but were “sold out” within an hour. If you reserved seats and find that you won’t be able to attend, please inform the box office. The box office is also offering standby tickets to fill any unfilled seats starting at 3:45 on the day of the show. For more information, please contact the Capitol Center Box Office at (603) 225-1111.
Highlights of this year’s concert include Laura Knoy’s reading of “Twas the Night Before Christmas,” new music written by composer Jerry Ascione to accompany a reading of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, John David Adams’ return in his celebrated role as “the Grinch,” as well as vocalist Patty Barkas, violin soloist Elliott Markow, and a grand finale sing-along.
The Merrimack Holiday Pops was created with the help of Skip Poole, Vice President and Senior Associate of our Wealth Management group. Skip is also an accomplished music director and conductor.

Meet Julie Jenkins, Internet Banking Coordinator
Julie Jenkins is our Internet Banking Coordinator here at The Merrimack and can be found working hard behind the scenes at our main office on Main Street in Concord. Although you most likely have not seen her during your regular visits to the bank, there is a good chance you’ve interacted with Julie over the telephone or via email.
A typical day for Julie includes everything from fielding customer phone calls and emails and monitoring system upgrades, to project management of new online-related service offerings and working closely with professionals from all seven of our branches especially as it relates to Online Banking and Bill Pay.
Julie’s career at The Merrimack began in January 2011, though her experience in banking spans 26 years. When asked what sets The Merrimack apart, Julie responded “I enjoy working for a local bank that prioritizes community involvement and feel strongly about The Merrimack’s desire to treat customers as people and not numbers.”
Julie is meticulous, precise and service-driven. She goes out of her way to ensure customers’ questions are answered and needs are met as quickly as possible. Julie makes Internet banking easier and customers have found comfort in her knowledge about how it may work best for them. This type of dedication is consistent with our Merrimack Style. Now that we’ve put a face to a name, please be sure to say hello to Julie the next time you see her passing through!
