Construction is progressing nicely for Merrimack County Savings Bank (the Merrimack)’s newest office in Hooksett, NH at 360 Londonderry Turnpike on Route 3. The branch, which is expected to open this spring, will be the Merrimack’s second office in Hooksett and ninth branch overall. The Bank has a full-service branch inside the Hooksett Welcome Center on Interstate 93 northbound as well, which is also accessible from Route 3A.
This new office opens on the 150th anniversary year of the Merrimack’s service to the local community. Merrimack County Savings Bank was founded to provide people of the Greater Concord area with a means of earning interest on their savings, and a source from which they could borrow funds to acquire a home. Since then, many other banking services have been added, and today the Bank offers a full range of modern personal and business banking products and services. For 150 years, Bank staff have provided professional and friendly customer service.
“The branch is located at a very convenient location on Route 3, and we’re extremely pleased with the progress of construction so far,” said Philip Emma, Bank President. “The end result will be a state of the art facility that will serve customers and the community for many years to come. We are thrilled to expand our footprint in Hooksett. The community has been so welcoming at our Hooksett Welcome Center office. We have exceeded expectations on the number of people and businesses who have already begun banking with us in anticipation of the opening of this newest branch office.”
