Jenifer (Jeni) Williams has been promoted to Mortgage Loan Originator at Merrimack County Savings Bank (the Merrimack). Previous to this position, Williams was Assistant Vice President, Branch and Business Development Manager of the Moultonborough office for Meredith Village Savings Bank (MVSB), sister bank to the Merrimack. In her new role as Mortgage Loan Originator, Williams will work out of the Merrimack’s newest office in Hooksett, located at 360 Londonderry Turnpike on Route 3, currently under construction and opening in the spring.
“We’re excited to have Jeni join us in the Merrimack lending department,” commented Mark Chalifour, Vice President of Residential Mortgage Sales. “Jeni’s diverse experience and background in banking will help her adapt to each customer’s individual mortgage needs.”
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to join the Merrimack mortgage team after managing MVSB’s Moultonborough office these past two years,” said Williams. “Though I’m glad to have been part of a reputable institution like MVSB, it’s rewarding to be able to shift gears and work for the Merrimack, who is equally regarded in the community.”
Williams has an extensive career in banking that spans 33 years. She joined MVSB in 2014 as Assistant Vice President, Branch and Business Development Manager for the Moultonborough office.
She is a current board member and immediate past President for the Moultonborough Lions Club. She is also a member of the Hooksett Kiwanis Club. Additionally, she has served as a former board member for the Ossipee Rotary, Ossipee Rotary Foundation and Lakes Region Food Pantry.
