Merrimack County Savings Bank makes $30,000 contribution in support of Home Ownership Education and Coaching Services

Funding provides support for free pre-purchase and post-purchase homeownership education programs in Concord, Manchester and Nashua.

Manchester, NH – October 31, 2014 - HOMEteam has received a $30,000 contribution from Merrimack County Savings Bank in support of home ownership educational and coaching services. The gift will support the free seminars and services of HOMEteam, a collaboration between NeighborWorks® Southern New Hampshire and CATCH Neighborhood Housing.

New Hampshire residents utilize the information and tools provided by HOMEteam to make good financial decisions related to purchasing, renting, and maintaining a home. Through a series of free workshops, one-on-one counseling, and other resources, first time home buyers are able to navigate the mortgage process, renters can save for home ownership, and home owners are better able to preserve and protect their investment in their home.
