Paul Rizzi Announces Assistant Vice President Promotions

Concord, NH – June 26, 2014 – Brad Kulacz, Robin Hefele, Natalya Thibodeau and Wendy Clark received Assistant Vice President promotions, according to Paul C. Rizzi Jr., President and CEO.

Brad Kulacz was promoted to Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager for the 89 North Main Street Concord location at Merrimack County Savings Bank.

Kulacz joined the Merrimack as Branch Manager of the Contoocook office in January, 2013. He previously worked as a Teller Manager/Senior Customer Service Representative at The Merrimack in Concord, from 2004 to 2006. “We are pleased to welcome Brad is his new role as AVP/Branch Manager of our Main Office,” said Linda Lorden, Senior Vice President, Senior Sales and Service Manager. “Brad has demonstrated his understanding of Merrimack Style and our approach to service. He also has years of experience with related education, training and certification, which will translate well into successful management of the branch.”

Kulacz earned his Associate’s Degree in Business Management from New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord. He has also completed related course work in Business studies at Hesser College. He resides with his family in Salisbury, NH.

Robin Hefele was promoted to AVP, Underwriting and Processing.

Hefele joined the Merrimack in 2011 as a Government Loan Underwriter and quickly advanced within the Bank. “Robin has a wealth of mortgage lending knowledge and experience,” said Donna Benson, Senior Vice President. “She is a valued member of the Residential Lending Department and was a Merrimack ‘STAR’ within months of her employment. We’re proud to have Robin on our team.”

Hefele has an extensive managerial background with more than 30 years of mortgage lending experience. She is on the advisory board for New Hampshire Housing and is a frequent volunteer at the Friendly Kitchen in Concord, NH.

Natalya Thibodeau was promoted to AVP, Financial Advisor. Natalya will be assuming greater responsibility in the area of investing and financial planning for the Bank’s Wealth Management division.

Thibodeau joined the Merrimack in 2008 and advanced to the Wealth Management department in 2011. She is a licensed Financial Advisor, in partnership with Infinex Investments, and specializes in investing, insurance and financial planning for major life goals such as retirement or college savings.

“Natalya will now be in a lead advisor role, as she continues to maintain her existing client roster,” said Paul Provost, Senior Vice President. “Natalya's success at the Merrimack has been a testament to her dedication. She is always looking to expand her knowledge about financial matters and works hard to be an indispensible resource for her clients.”

Natalya is a graduate of Baltic State University in Kaliningrad, Russia and is currently studying to become a Certified Financial Planner.

Wendy Clark was promoted to AVP, Senior Compliance Officer. Wendy Clark oversees bank compliance for Merrimack County Savings Bank and Meredith Village Savings Bank, which operate under the same mutual holding company, New Hampshire Mutual Bancorp.

Clark has been with the Merrimack since 2011. In 2013, as part of the holding company alliance, Clark became responsible for overseeing compliance for both banks.

“Wendy and her team have been exceptional in ensuring our banking practices adhere to state and federal regulations,” said Joanne Pearce, Senior Vice President, Risk Management Officer.
